KYnergy technology was invented to harness the performer’s waste energy and latent energy in the surroundings and then convert that into infrared. Far Infrared Radiation (FIR) is a type of radiation that sits on the wavelength just above visible light. It has clinically proven effects on the body, which when combined with our fabric allows the wearer to experience them.

During Performance -
The wearer will experience an increased level of tissue oxygenation and blood circulation. This equates to more oxygen, nutrients and glycogen being delivered and absorbed into the cells.
The infrared properties will also allow the body to speed up the removal and breakdown of lactic acid. For the player, fatigue felt in the muscles will be delayed for longer whilst simultaneously allowing for increased muscular performance.
Finally, FIR increases the production of nitric oxide in the tissues. This is one of the body’s pain relief mechanisms. The fabric allows heightened pain relief due to the extra stimulation of the nitric oxide in the muscle as a result.
Though we would always recommend wearing Kymira before, during and after exercise, the wearer will still experience numerous recovery benefits just by wearing the garments post workout.
As noted previously, FIR increases the blood oxygenation and circulation. From a recovery perspective, removal and breakdown of lactic acid plus other known waste products happen at an increased rate. As well, the apparel helps to reduce swelling as one’s glycogen levels are replenished faster.

Inversely, the increased blood circulation caused by the FIR means that the body’s thermoregulatory system is aided so as to stop the wearer from becoming overheated. This is due to an accelerated rate of evaporation and dissipation of heat into the surroundings. Playing in hotter temperatures has never been as comfortable with the fabric 35% quicker drying than standard fabrics.

Playing in hotter temperatures has never been as comfortable as the fabric’s 35% quicker drying time brings a level of comfort not possible with traditional fabrics.
